Rare is a person born and bred in Orlando, the city beautiful; and even rarer is an Orlando native committed to excellence in production and dedication to proper music selection. Enrique Negron has for years taken up the intrigue of DJ’ing and producing and the respect that he has earned in Orlando is a testament of that work. A freshman member of the Housekeepers collective he has slingshotted to the forefront of Orlando’s young and growing underground scene. His recent release with Housekeepers veteran Matt Enos featuring the special treatment from Cuff favorite Clyde P explores a darker side of tech staying playful with vocal work and club-ready with a driving kick and powerful percussives. As he matures as a producer he looks to sounds more minimal and introspective drawing inspiration from the streets of Bucharest and the shores of Croatia. With growing support from artists both national and international, Enrique is well on his way to becoming a tour-de-force in the scene.
